Multi-layer testing for 3rd Generation Networks
Victoria SDH/ATM/IP is a handheld tester for the installation, acceptance and maintenance of ATM networks in IP environments and over SDH, SONET or PDH. It performs:
SDH/SONET/PDH test
- Tandem Connection Monitoring (TCM) and APid tests
- G.783 pointer sequences
- Automatic Protection Switching (APS)
- Round Trip Delay (RTD) on all interfaces
- PDH PCM30/31 frame structure with CAS signalling
- SDH at 34Mbit/s according to the ITU-T G.832
- Outputs with frequency offsets from 0 to 20000ppm with steps of 0.01ppm
ATM test
- Tests at 2, 34, 45 and 155Mbit/s
- ATM traffic generation with editing of the overhead and payload
- Tracing of 1024 active connections
- CBER bit error tests
- Simultaneous analysis of CTD, 1-CDV, 2-CDV, CMR, CLR, CER, SECBR, SES and US
- End-to-end or segment F4/F5 cells
- AIS,RDI,continuity test and closed loop
- Generation and analysis of AAL1, AAL2 and AAL5
IP test
- Ping over ATM
- List of IP addresses. Frequency and packet size
- Bandwidth use
- Traffic composition % per protocol: TCP, UDP, ICM, IGMP
- Traffic composition % by application: WWW, FTP, Telnet, DNS, SNMTP
